Kartar’s passion is to create experiences by which people can learn. He’s a trained and certified KY teacher and KY teacher trainer who has been practicing and studying KY since the early 70’s. He loves it because it’s a path of physical yoga, and much more—it’s really a path for those who want to get growing. Friends will tell you that he’s in love with everything spiritual— everything that has to do with letting out the Spirit, the smile, the joy, the heart and soul of the person. He’s used all kinds of spiritual teachers and teachings to learn. He would say that “if you cannot be a teacher to yourself, then you have nothing to share with others. ”
His principal teacher is Yogi Bhajan and his love is to learn the depth of Kundalini Yoga. Once when he went to visit YB, he told him “you have an angel that sits on your right shoulder. You earned it. When you walked in that angel blew itself up big and told me to tell you ‘if you don’t start teaching I should stand you up on your head’”. Kartar started teaching. Yogi Bhajan once said—“when people meet Kartar they won’t know what to make of him. And after they get to know him they will never forget him.”SEE KARTAR'S FULL BIO & SCHEDULE
Sat Kartar Singh
Sat Kartar is a dynamic, patient, and inspiring teacher who has been sharing the technology of Kundalini Yoga and the 3HO lifestyle for over 30 years. This included living in Ashrams along the east coast of the United States for over a decade and traveling to courses & workshops given by Yogi Bhajan throughout his lifetime.
Sat Kartar brings to his teaching all of the aspects he has lived and practiced for many years. This includes Yogic diet & lifestyle, yoga for men, yoga for women, the yoga of relationships and marriage, Naad Yoga- the yoga of mantra and sound as well as the vast teachings of Kundalini Kriyas & Meditations. Learn more about our Teacher Training programs from personal experiences of our students.
"What a powerful way to learn about and experience Kundalini Yoga. To have the opportunity to learn directly from teachers who have been practicing and teaching this technology for nearly 40 years is such a priceless gift. This is all transmitted in such a warm and nurturing way. I am so grateful that I chose this path, and have been rewarded with amazing positive changes in myself. I had no idea it would be the gateway for such a life changing experience, in such a relatively short time."
"The teacher training experience at Radiance is an amazing opportunity to immerse yourself in the history, technology, and experience of Kundalini Yoga, mantra, and meditation. It’s like a gift to yourself, with each weekend a chance to learn more about who you are and who you want to be."
"The Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training program at Radiance Yoga has been one of the most amazing and life-changing gifts I’ve ever given myself. It has allowed me know myself and grow in more ways than I could have imagined. The friends that were made and the deep connections shared will always hold a special place in my heart. I quickly realized that the weekends were more like an educational yoga retreat than they were strict clinical instruction, and I left the weekend feeling much more bright and shiny than when the we began. It has been well worth the investment."
