Meditation
Kundalini yoga meditations challenge and release mental blocks by using powerful breathing techniques and mantras. As human beings we hold anger, fear, insecurity, and neuroses as patterns in the body and mind. The sound current in the mantras replaces the vibration of pain with the vibration of consciousness and wholeness on a cellular level. These meditations are a profound transformational process that enables you to bring balance, grace, contentment, and divinity to every aspect of your life.

Kundalini Meditation Basics:
-
Posture - Keep the spine long and straight to allow the kundalini energy to flow without restriction
-
Breath - Each meditation will specify a breathing pattern, breathing deeply and consciously circulates oxygen and pranic energy to the body and brings the mind to rest in the moment
-
Mental Focus - Points of concentration during the meditation are at the third-eye point, the heart, the crown chakra, the tip of the nose, and the chin
-
Mantra - Powerful sound vibrations chanted in silence or out loud to focus the mind and change brain patterns
-
Time - Meditation times range from 3 to 62 minutes. Yogic science has determined that there are specific amounts of time necessary to create certain desired effects. In 3 minutes the circulation and blood stability are affected. In 11 minutes the pituitary and nerves begin to change. In 22 minutes the three minds (positive, negative, and neutral) balance and begin to work together. In 31 minutes the entire mind, aura, and all of the body's internal elements are affected. In 62 minutes the subconscious mind and the positive outer projection are integrated.
