Allison Davis has been teaching at Radiance Yoga since the doors opened in 2008. A long distance runner for over 10 years, she first came to yoga to help reduce muscle tightness and prevent injuries. She quickly discovered the powerful medicinal qualities of expressive movement and stillness. Allison believes that yoga is a pathway to inner harmony with oneself and the world. She honors yogic teachings that emphasize a unifying and celebratory awareness of divinity in all aspects of life.
Allison has over 2,000 hours of training with national and international teachers of yoga, anatomy, therapy and personal growth. She choreographs her sequencing to reflect anatomical and personal themes, balancing vitality and rest while choosing music that enlivens the flow of the class. Using the breath, Allison invites her students to unwind, explore the joy of intentional movement, and connect to their highest self. Allison is humbled by and grateful for every wise teachers and students she has met along the way.
