Vy was introduced to yoga in 2010 while finishing her undergraduate education. Up until then, martial arts was her primary physical and mental pursuit. She found yoga as a complementary practice, but did not cultivate a consistent practice until she moved to the DC area where she realized that stress was making her mentally and physically deteriorate. In 2018, Vy completed her RYT-200 with Radiance Yoga and a 40-hour Restorative Teacher Training in 2019. Naturally enthusiastic and curious, she enjoys combining strength, flexibility and balance in energetic classes, but she recognizes that the self needs moments of softness, kindness and self-care through gentle, restorative, and contemplative practices. Vy hopes to make connection with everyone and everything through yoga.
