HEATHER HARE

RYT 200

Heather is committed to teaching from the heart and helping others find stability and balance on and off the mat.  She traces her interest in yoga to childhood, when a PBS television show brought yoga into her living room. She rediscovered yoga as an adult at a time when the stresses of work were at an all-time high, experiencing yoga as more than just exercise, but as a practice for every moment in life. The physical and mental well-being that Heather gained through yoga inspired her to study meditation and pursue teacher training. She is committed to bringing the benefits she has experienced to others through classes that build strength and flexibility of both body and mind. Heather draws on exploration of many styles of yoga to create classes with a sense of fun and challenge that are adaptable to both beginners and experienced practitioners.

Heather completed her 500 -hour training with Yoga Medicine ®, a program that blends modern science with traditional wisdom, preparing her to provide individualized therapeutic programs to meet specific health and wellness goals.

She has taught in diverse settings including nonprofit organizations, schools, military and senior communities.
