Courtney Tanenbaum

Courtney completed her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training in 2022 and her 85-hour Prenatal Yoga Teacher Training in 2023. Since then, she has taught nearly 1,000 hours of classes, including power, vinyasa, slow flow, gentle yoga, deep stretch, prenatal- and postpartum-specific yoga, and sculpt and HIIT-based strength building formats. A former gymnast and springboard and platform diver, Courtney discovered yoga about 25 years ago as a way to maintain strength, mobility, balance, and flexibility, and to cultivate a deeper understanding of the healing power of mindful and breath-centered movement. Courtney's classes are welcoming, empowering, and intentionally designed to build students' confidence in their practice. Her classes include creative, but intentionally designed sequencing to promote breath-guided movement, safe body alignment in poses and transitions, and to build students' functional strength to support their long-term health, mobility, and stability.
