Renew, Restore & Reconnect: Yoga, Nature & Eco-Luxury in the Glendalough Valley

Join Masuda and Christy for an unforgettable week of yoga, nature, and exploration in the heart of County Wicklow, known as the “Garden of Ireland.”

Our home for the week is The Deerstone, a six-acre luxury eco-retreat tucked into the Glendalough Valley, surrounded by mountains, forests, traditional sheep farms, and the Inchavore River. Just an hour from Dublin and a short walk from the village of Laragh, it offers a peaceful base for experiencing one of Ireland’s most beautiful regions.

Renew, Restore & Reconnect

Our days will balance yoga and meditation with plenty of time to explore, rest, and simply enjoy being in this remarkable place. Practices with Masuda and Christy will include a mix of movement, meditation, and restoration, along with a special Heart Opening Workshop with Masuda. There will be full days and quiet moments, mornings on the mat, walks through the countryside, shared meals, and space to follow your own rhythm.

Explore Wild & Historic Ireland

Glendalough, meaning “Glen of the Two Lakes,” is a glacial valley in the Wicklow Mountains and home to an early medieval monastic settlement founded by St. Kevin in the sixth century. During the week, we’ll experience the surrounding landscape through guided hikes and a special group excursion, with opportunities to explore the lakes, forests, mountain trails, and historic sites that make this region so distinctive. The Deerstone also sits close to both Wicklow Mountains National Park and the Wicklow Way, making the natural beauty of Ireland part of the retreat from the moment you arrive.

Nourish & Unwind

Food is an important part of the experience at The Deerstone, with meals prepared around fresh, seasonal, locally sourced ingredients. Enjoy leisurely breakfasts, nourishing lunches, and thoughtfully prepared dinners shared together throughout the week. Between activities, relax in the sauna or hot tub, find a quiet spot outdoors, walk into nearby Laragh, or simply enjoy an afternoon with nowhere you need to be.

You may consider plans from travelinsure.com, insuremytrip.com, or any other option provided by your credit card, airline or travel company. Also note that your health insurance may not provide coverage internationally. Check with your provider and consider additional coverage if necessary.
