Rocío Yáñez is a yoga and meditation teacher specializing in mindful, trauma-informed approaches to Kundalini Yoga. Her classes weave together embodied awareness, gentle strength, and spiritual presence to create a deeply grounding and uplifting experience.
She completed her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training at Radiance Yoga in Alexandria, VA, and is currently pursuing her 300-hour certification. Rocío has also undertaken over 900 hours of formal teacher training in Mindfulness and Meditation, including Transpersonal Meditation and Women’s Circle Facilitation with the Escuela Española de Desarrollo Transpersonal.
Originally from Puerto Rico, Rocío serves on the leadership board of the IYTA Escuela Superior de Yoga, a non-profit organization devoted to expanding access to yoga education and nurturing community wellbeing across the island. Her teaching reflects a devotion to inner stillness, compassion, and the sacred art of presence.
