Sara Jefferies

RYT 200
Sara’s teaching style is creative and focused with full-body flows that often incorporate breathe work, somatic movements, mobility sequencing and isometric moves as well as massage, vegal nerve release and brain challenges through movement. Finding balance in challenge and ease whether in a gentle or vinyasa class.
When not on her mat, Sara enjoys gardening, flower arranging, American Mahi Jong and planning vacations! Originally from Louisville, KY, she and her husband have created a home in Alexandria since 2005 with their three children. Sara earned her B.A and Masters in Public Administration from the University of Kentucky.
Certifications: YTT 200 from Radiance in 2020 with over 950 hours of teaching experience; YogiKids certification, SCULPT trained. Sara has led several retreats, puppy yoga and workshops out of Shrinemont, VA and the local Fort Hunt area. You can also find her at Bishop Ireton High School where she acts as a strength and conditioning coach helping to teach student athletes how to better recover from their high performance training.
