We are committed to the safety, health, and well-being of all of our teachers, staff, and community members who attend our in-person classes. We are also enrolled in the ALX Promise program – committing to higher safety standards for both employees and students. Please take a moment to review our updated policies and procedures to ensure you have a healthy and happy experience each time you come into the studio.

Please note that we have updated our vaccination policy, and now require all teachers, staff, and students who wish to practice in-studio to be fully vaccinated and boosted against COVID-19 – see below for more details.

  • If it has been more than six months since your second vaccination of Pfizer or Moderna, or three months since your initial Johnson & Johnson vaccination, one booster is required to attend classes in studio.

Please continue to be mindful of personal space in the studio. Let’s all practice a little grace, with the understanding that there are varying degrees of comfort among our community.

Proof of vaccination required for in-studio classes

Temporarily limited class schedule

Decreased in-studio & outdoor class capacity

Must reserve spaces for classes online

Masks are optional in class and communal areas

What We Are Doing

  • Expedited Check-in: Students must pre-register and pay online before arrival for expedited check-in, and to limit time in the lobby.

  • Vaccinations required for in-studio classes: We now require all those who wish to attend in-studio classes to be fully vaccinated and boosted. If you have a medical issue that prohibits you from being vaccinated we can make an exception provided you have documentation from a doctor or health department stating that the vaccine is contraindicated for you and proof of a negative COVID test within 24 hours.

  • Masks are Optional: Masks are not required for our in-studio classes, but please feel free to continue to wear your mask if you are more comfortable doing so.

  • Set Mat Spaces: Mats are spaced with markers to accommodate up to (but no more than) 40% capacity.

  • Hand sanitizers are available through the studio. We ask that all yogis take off their shoes upon entering and then wash or sanitize their hands.

  • Cleaning: The entire studio and practice area are thoroughly cleaned daily, with spot cleanings between classes.

  • Pause on Physical Assists: Yoga assists/touch are still suspended in our group classes.

  • Mats & Props: Please bring your own yoga mat. Our mat rentals can be expensive and are on a limited basis. Mat Rental $5. Blocks & Straps no charge.

  • Outdoor & Online Classes: We will continue to offer in-person outdoor classes at Belle Haven Park, and online classes through Live-Stream and OnDemand.
