Join Masuda and Brigitte for an inspiring and rejuvenating six-night retreat in the beautiful coastal town of Olhão, Portugal. Olhao is renowned for its authentic and rustic ambiance, delightful markets along the waterfront, friendly locals, meandering cobblestone streets, and beautiful nearby beaches. Olhão is situated very close to other interesting islands and is the perfect base for exploring the beautiful Ria Formosa Natural Park and the beautiful lagoon island beaches of Armona, Culatra and Farol, which can be reached by regular ferry services.
We will be staying in the gorgeous Casa Fuzetta, which is nestled in the heart of Olhão, in the unspoiled eastern Algarve region of Portugal. Casa Fuzetta has been beautifully restored with individually themed bedroom suites that offer a slice of luxury to your stay. It truly is the perfect setting to nourish your mind, body, and spirit.
On our retreat, we’ll enjoy morning and afternoon yoga sessions on the rooftop terrace, delicious meals prepared by our own private chef, a group excursion, and downtime by the rooftop pool. The Details
About the Resort
Casa Fuzetta is a historic townhouse located in the heart of Olhão’s old town. Originally, a classical gentleman’s residence, it was lovingly restored over a three-year period, between 2014 and 2016. The owners called upon the skills of the local craftsmen and artisans to create a property that balances the heritage of its architecture with contemporary design and comfort- including a spectacular rooftop pool. Throughout the property a palette of natural colors and materials – white, stone, wood and linens, creates a space in which everyone can feel at ease the moment they walk through the door.

Retreat includes:
• 6-night luxury accommodations: each room has an ensuite private bathroom, modern walk-in shower, heated flooring, organic bath products, 100% cotton luxury linens and bath towels, artwork by local artists.
• Daily morning and afternoon yoga classes with Masuda & Brigitte (Flow, Yin, Gentle, Kundalini, Chakra Yoga, & Meditation)
•Two Workshops on the Chakras
• Two meals per day: large breakfast/brunch and dinner
• Group Excursion
• All yoga props – mat, blanket, blocks, bolster pillow, eye pillow and massage balls
• Access to both the indoor and outdoor yoga spaces as well as the indoor meditation room.
• Rooftop pool and lounge, multiple sun decks, game room, library, living room, gourmet kitchen, and boutique.
• Use of handmade Portuguese wicker baskets & hats, Turkish pool towels, plastic-free water bottles and umbrellas for the beach while staying at the house.
Not included in the pricing:
Airfare to Portugal, airport taxes, airport transfers to Caza Fuzetta, excursions/tours not listed, beverages outside of meals listed or alcoholic drinks, massage service, and gratuities.
Cancellation Policy:
Deposits are non-refundable. No refunds will be issued for the installment payment or final balance unless your space can be filled with someone from the waiting list. No credits or refunds will be issued if cancellation is received within one month of the event. If Radiance Yoga must cancel due to insufficient enrollment, your deposit and any paid installment and balance will be refunded in full.

Some More Useful Information to Consider
Travel Insurance:
We recommend that international retreat participants take out travel insurance in case of any life situation that may alter your plans. You may consider plans from travelinsure.com, insuremytrip.com, or any other option provided by your credit card, airline, or travel company. Also, note that your health insurance may not provide coverage internationally. Check with your provider and consider additional coverage if necessary. In order to guarantee maximum coverage, most travel insurance providers require that you obtain a policy within 5-10 days of placing your initial deposit.
What airport do I fly into?
You will book your international ticket into Faro airport (FAO), which is a 20-minute drive from Casa Fuzetta. If you fly into Lisbon airport (LIS), then drive time is three and a half hours to Casa Fuzetta.
Are airport transfers included?
Please arrange your own airport transfer to Casa Fuzetta. Taxi rides are 20-25 euros per person. We do not recommend renting a car as there is no parking at Casa Fuzetta.
Do I need a Visa to travel to Portugal?
American citizen visitors to Portugal do not need a visa if they are traveling as a tourist with a valid U.S. passport.
What time is check in and check out?
Check-in is 4:00pm and check-out is by 11:00.
Are gratuities included?
Gratuities are not included in the price of the program. We recommend 10 euros per person per day in cash to be given to the staff on check out day. Tipping is not obligatory but is greatly appreciated especially when receiving great service.
Are meals included?
Brunch and dinner are included but lunches will be on your own. Restaurants are within walking distance to Casa Fuzetta.
Are there massage services available?
Massages will be available. Case Fuzetta can organize massage treatments through their network of local therapists. However, these should be booked at least 2 weeks in advance. The price for a one hour LA-EVA sensory immersion or deep release massage is 90€ (option to add full body scrub: 25min: 55€) payable in cash to our house manager or direct to the therapist). Please note that the therapists are freelance and not employed by Casa Fuzetta. Therefore, it will be difficult for them to accommodate last minute changes or requests and will expect to be paid for any cancellations with less 72hrs notice.
Are there yoga props?
Yoga mats and props are provided.
Is WiFi available?
Yes, WiFi is available.
Is there laundry service?
Not at Casa Fuzetta. There are places in town.
What will be the average group size for this retreat?
12-15 students

What should I pack?
The weather is typically still warm in September with daytime tempratures averaging 75 degrees F, with evenings cooler. We recommend including shorts, t-shirts, skirts/dresses/pants, light sweateror jacket, bathing suit, hat, sunglasses, sunscreen.
